Smoke Rise women’s annual trip to McDowell, KY involves working alongside the staff at GAP. Our purpose is to be the presence of Christ as we build relationships with adults. We strive to serve them in ways that meet emotional and spiritual needs and to help them realize that they are beautiful children of God, created in His Image, for His Purpose. We give haircuts and manicures, make crafts, give personal grooming products to men and women and spend one-on-one time with them, hearing their stories, praying together and sharing our Jesus stories.
