The Smoke Rise Baptist Missions Ministry provides resources of people and finances. Our mission teams involve lay leadership working directly with mission partners, sending teams on the field locally and around the world.

Smoke Rise women’s annual trip to McDowell, KY involves working alongside the staff at GAP. Our purpose is to be the presence of Christ as we build relationships with adults. We strive to serve them in ways that meet emotional and spiritual needs and to help them realize that they are beautiful children of God, created in His Image, for His Purpose. We give haircuts and manicures, make crafts, give personal grooming products to men and women and spend one-on-one time with them, hearing their stories, praying together and sharing our Jesus stories. We lead a week of Summer Day Camp at Metro Baptist Church for children in inner NYC’s “Hell’s Kitchen” area.

We lead a week of Summer Day Camp at Greater Restoration Baptist Church for inner-city youth in Brooklyn.

Working to meet the spiritual & physical needs of desperately poor people in the barrios of the city of Tijuana, Mexico.

*Lead VBS for hundreds of children
*Construction projects at the ministry, as well as, working on new and existing homes in the area

*Fellowship and pray with members of the community
*Participate in Sunday & Thursday worship
