Adult Sunday School Classes
A variety of adult Sunday School classes offer you choice. Each class is
designed to provide relevant Bible study, fellowship, community service, care
and support. Some are targeted toward age, some are gender based, and some are
focused on life issue discussions and are open for all. Pick one that's a fit
for you.

• Life Connections
Life Connections is the name of our adult discipleship ministry consisting of
in-depth Bible studies and other short-term classes. Classes are offered fall
through spring.
• 55 A Go-Go
Prime Time is an ecumenical group of senior adults who meet on the first
Tuesday of the month at 6:00 P.M. at Smoke Rise for supper, entertainment and
lots of fun. Everyone 55 years of age and older is cordially invited to attend.

Adults Going "Wicked"

Join us for lunch and a matinee production of the popular Broadway Musical Wicked playing at the Fabulous Fox Theater at 1:00 P.M. We departing from Smoke Rise at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 30, have lunch (on your own) at Mary Mac’s Tea Room and then view the 1:00 P.M. performance of Wicked at the Fox Theater. We have great ticket prices (although limited in number), great seating at the Fox and a step on guide to share interesting facts about Atlanta, Mary Mac’s and the Fox.
The cost is $68 per person. The Deadline for sign-up is Wednesday, October 1. Tickets are limited so don’t delay! Your reservations can be made by bringing or mailing a check to Linda Cummings at Smoke Rise. For more information, contact the church office at 770.469.5856.

How these two unlikely friends end up as the Wicked Witch of the west and Glinda the Good Witch makes for the most spellbinding new musical in years.
Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, is a very beautiful and entwined story about friendships with comedy and beautiful music. (This story is geared toward adults. It would be difficult for children to understand.)
