Care and Counseling Center of Georgia at Smoke Rise
The Counseling Center is co-sponsored by the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia and Smoke Rise Baptist Church. The church’s purpose is to make theologically and clinically trained counselors available to individuals and families who are a part of the larger community.
Our counselors understand that effective counseling respects the individual beliefs and spiritual values of each person. Our counselors bring clinical competence and spiritual sensitivity to every person they meet. Our counselors are open to all persons.
We all face stress and pressure in our daily lives. Sometimes you or someone you care about may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, fear, loneliness, sadness, anger, depression, relationship problems, or general adjustment to life. Whether you are having marital difficulties; coping with depression, grief or illness; struggling with children or adolescents; or considering a career change, CCCG is here for you. You are not alone.
The counseling center has a private entrance on the south side of the church. Therapists are available by appointment only. A standard fee is charged for counseling services. This fee is discussed and agreed upon between a therapist and her client during the first session. Limited scholarship funds may be able to supplement clients in need of financial assistance. Insurance also may be accepted depending on individual coverage.
