Missions
Serving others is part of the DNA of Smoke Rise.
When someone joins Smoke Rise, they are asked to find ways to serve. Smoke Rise Mission is participatory and self-directed. We seek to serve based on an Acts 1:8 model, serving locally, nationally and internationally. Our service is a bottom-up model that will put our resources of people and finance as close to the need as possible.
We serve through partnerships with missionaries and mission organizations. We also serve alongside field personnel from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

Edgewood Church
In our journey together, our values are things that keep us moving towards the center, towards living with Jesus as Lord, towards living into the Dream of God. All of our values are interrelated – they are all dependent on each other and work together to move us towards our center.
Edgewood Church is a church plant in the Edgewood neighborhood of Atlanta, desiring to be a church that serves their community, promoting reconciliation of people to each other and people to God.

Domestic Partnerships
The purpose of God’s Appalachian Partnership, Inc.(GAP) is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of people in Appalachia by: 1. Meeting the person on the level of spiritual need so that they will grow into the person God created them to be and share that with others. 2. Meeting the physical needs through food, clothing housing and other areas essential to wellness in an effort to promote personal responsibility. 3.Meeting the personal development need through special training which enhances their economic potential of the individual and the community as a whole.
At the beginning of 2010 GAP began a transition from a needs based to an asset-based community development ministry. Essentially, this means we have moved away from mostly distributing resources as the primary way of building relationships and meeting community needs. We are now working to build relationships to discover the potential that already is in the community to meet its own needs.

International Partnerships
HOI
Nicaragua
In partnership with HOI, we send teams to Nicaragua to improve the spiritual, physical, educational, and economic development for the people. Through programs of health, education and community development, partnerships are formed with the people of Nicaragua which promote dignity, mutual cooperation and self-sufficiency.
Honduras
In partnership with HOI, we send teams to Honduras. SRBC is dedicated to improve the spiritual, physical, educational, and economic development for the people in the Olancho province of Central Honduras.
HOI
HOI is not primarily a relief organization (i.e. an organization that provides assistance after natural disasters). Instead, we work long-term in communities, empowering them to reach their full potential, and use short-term volunteer mission trip teams to accomplish long-range goals. HOI has a rich history in communities of Central America using an integrated approach that includes education, medical care, agriculture, facility construction and spiritual development. By investing in communities over decades, we strive to see permanent and total transformation.
Tijuana
We work to meet the spiritual & physical needs of the desperate needs of God’s people in the barrios of the city of Tijuana, Mexico.

We participate with children from the church in fun outings that they otherwise would never get to do (a movie; a day at the beach; a trip to McDonald’s, etc.)

Providing food and educating over 2,700 school children
The mission and purpose of African Children’s Mission is to reach out to children in destitute circumstances, with food, care, and with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to enable them to grow and develop in a secure environment. Christian values and principles are the foundation of our ministry and programs. Our goal is to guide children into a responsible, productive life, and discipling them through word and example.
African Children's Mission
ACM exists to glorify God by providing Christ-centered support to people living in the Nakasongola District of Uganda and in Meru County, Kenya. For over two decades we have invested in these areas, living in the communities we serve. Through the dedication of time and resources from many people like you, the resilience and pride of the people we work with, and God’s grace, our communities are being transformed for Christ, and we are watching some of our earliest sponsored children lead organizations, graduate from universities, and choose marriage and family for their lives. This is so encouraging as we continue to invest in long-term care and deep discipleship for His glory.
