Blog Post By Zoe (5th Grade): Science and Moses

One of the things I like most about VBS is wreck because we get to run around, act freely, and like ourselves. We also get to play fun games every day, and sometimes we get to choose the game we play. Another thing I like is science because we get to conduct cool experiments, and also we get to make cool things like creating putty and a bubble with dry ice. Also  making a reminder that God is with us. We also got to see another way to light a candle then to just light the cotton. We also got to create a compass out of only  wax paper, a needle, and magnet. Another thing I am grateful for is getting to have snacks almost every hour. Today I saw god when I was asking a kid what he was doing in science today.

The bible verse that I like the most is the one when the Israelites escaped and Moses led them. The trip took 40 years because God led them through the Egyptian desert with a cloud. And before that the Israelites refused to follow Moses and as a result of that act God made them go all around the desert in loops. They walked around ⅓ of the earth, and because of this, most of the Israelites did not make it the entire journey.  During the day God had them follow a cloud, and during the night he had them follow lightning.
