A Season of Learning and Love at Smoke Rise Weekday School

Busy, busy, busy. Busy as can be-
With 60 preschoolers swimming in the Weekday School Sea!
The fall has been full of fun with Camping Day, Farm Day,
Community Helpers Day, David Ginn’s Magic Show and Pumpkin Day too-
While learning, growing and experiencing God’s love for me and you!
Throughout the week, the hallways are full of little feet;
Walking beside them is such a special treat!
Many of their families come from far away,
But they have found Smoke Rise Weekday School is a safe place to stay.
They trust us with their pride and joy –
Each and every girl and boy.
The mission field is within our church walls,
Daily as these families walk through our halls.
Many who come to the Weekday School need our care-
With food and funds and clothes to wear.
Government furloughs, refugee services cut short, rising costs of healthcare and lost benefits like SNAP….
Smoke Rise Baptist Church, we can fill the gap!
